Suicide Prevention Strategy Led by the Community

Inclusion Unlimited was commissioned to design and deliver a series of workshops to support a London Borough’s Suicide Prevention Strategy. The workshops brought together people with lived experience of the impacts of suicide and suicidal ideation to share insights, identify gaps, and shape effective approaches to suicide prevention. Our role included participant recruitment and support, facilitation, and capturing learning to inform future strategy.

By bringing together diverse lived experiences, participants could validate, challenge, and refine existing approaches, ensuring alignment with the needs of local residents. While consensus was not required, the objective was to foster rich discussions and collective knowledge-sharing, equipping the Partnership with valuable insights to inform meaningful, community-driven suicide prevention initiatives.

"Inclusion Unlimited helped to guide and deliver a lived experience workshop for the Barnet Suicide Prevention Strategy, and their co-production expertise in this process was hugely valuable. Their input into the format of the workshop, communications around the workshop and participant recruitment helped to ensure that the workshop was accessible and captured the broad lived experience of people from across the Barnet community. Briony and Keely’s facilitation on the day also helped to build a supportive environment for attendees to share their experiences. Briony’s organisation, attention to detail and proactive communication with our team helped to ensure we were well prepared for the workshop, and that the workshop ran smoothly on the day."

Co-producing in Partnership

“Inclusion Unlimited were brought in on behalf of a partnership of local authorities and CCGs to deliver a coproduction exercise with a group of adults with learning disabilities and their families. They came with insight and expertise to help shape the engagement, dealt sensitively with all the different stakeholders and enabled the project to smoothly progress.”

Patient Voice in North London Forensics Collaborative

Inclusion Unlimited worked with NLFC to embed meaningful co-production, supporting the Patient Council and Peer Engagement Workers. Through peer-led facilitation, evaluation and project support, we enabled people with lived experience to shape services, research and advocacy, strengthening patient voice and system-wide impact.

"Thank you for all your support over the years in developing our lived experience work in the commissioning hub.  With your support and the wider team at Inclusion Unlimited we have managed not only to build some really strong foundations, but have managed to embed lived experience voice within so many of our commissioning processes, we are very proud of the work we have done together.”

Co-producingAsylum Seeker Health Information Packs

"Working with Briony has been incredibly valuable, and an absolute pleasure. She has offered essential insight and feedback into the Asylum Seeker Health Information Pack which I’ve worked on, co-producing with a number of partners including asylum seekers. Briony was able to guide me on how to get the most from the sessions and ensure that all those we engaged with also benefited from the sessions. I found working with her really enjoyable and found her advice extremely helpful, I will definitely take it with me in future work.”

Co-producing Health and Wellbeing Solutions

"Working with Briony has been a real pleasure over the last few months. Her support has been invaluable to getting the Health and Wellbeing Strategy to the stage that it is currently at. Specifically, she has used her experience to shape the questions and format of the consultation sessions, ensuring that what we are asking is clear, realistic and that we get some useful feedback at the end of the first stage of consultation. Her facilitation has also helped to keep sessions on track and focused, while also allowing participants to talk through their ideas and suggestions.”
